Ocean Guardians: Goleta City Council Presentation

The Ocean Guardians made a grand presentation of their research and recommendations from studying the Maria Ygnacio Creek this past year. The video of their presentation and the Council's responses is a little over 13 minutes long. Check it out. They did a fantastic job!

As an Ocean Guardian I pledge to…

…bring my own water bottle, mug, utensils and reusable bag.

…say ‘No Plastic Straw Please” when I dine out (even though they are fun).

…pick up at least 5 pieces of plastic pollution whenever I can.

…avoid using balloons

(even though they are fun).

…clean up the beach, park, or creek to leave it better than I found it.

…reuse or repurpose products to extend their usable life.

…engage family, businesses and co-workers to make this promise too.

For my community and my ocean.
